The Apostolic Outreach Center was birthed out of a miracle. One day, our current pastor, John Cupit, was in a prayer meeting praying about a soul that could be the spark for revival in the black community in New Orleans Louisiana. Brother Brown was passing by the First Pentecostal Church on N. Dorgenois and Canal Street, when his car was stirred into the church parking lot. He got out of the car and walk to the door and knocked. No one answered, so Bro. Brown made his way back to his car where he tried to start it up. it wouldn't start. he then stepped out of the car where there was a tract lying on the ground. The tract read "Repent or Perish". As he was reading the tract, Pastor Cupit came to the door and introduced himself to Bro. Brown. From then on it was a continuous working of God on Bro. Brown through Bro. Cupit, and because of the miracle that happened to Bro. Brown, we now worship God freely as a family.
