Click on a letter in the alphabet above to view a page with every word that is found in the KJV Bible for the letter that you choose. You can then use that page to search for verses in the Bible that contain a particular (complete, whole) word. The numbers next to each word correspond to the exact number of times that each word occurs in the KJV Bible.
Use the form above by entering a word (or part of a word). You will be given a page with closely matching words. You can then use that page to do single word searches within the KJV Bible.
Sometimes the number(s) can correspond to the number of verses in the Bible. This is true when a particular word occurs in each verse only one time, which is often the case. However, this is not always the case. The reason for this is that sometimes a word can occur more than once in a single verse.
If it happens that a word with it's compound both occur in the same verse, then both will be highlighted. However, only verses that contain the complete whole word that you select from the word list will be shown. Verses that contain a compound of a word, but that is not the complete word that you choose, will not be shown.
